“Ben has spoken to the police who are currently in his neighborhood because he lives outside the mandatory evacuation zone,” said a source familiar with the situation. Our. “There is a neighbour, who has private insurance, who has been preventing residents from getting to their homes, and Ben is one of them.”
Los Angeles, where the 52-year-old actor lives, is currently under a series of evacuation orders in the middle a continuous series of devastating forest fires. Affleck was spotted talking to law enforcement officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI outside his home in Brentwood, California on Sunday, January 12, according to photos published by TMZ.

The The FBI also denied it that Affleck is in legal trouble. The office recently investigated drone activity in the actor’s neighborhood.
“Members of the FBI’s Ground Interception Task Force are conducting activities in the Palisades Fire area regarding unauthorized drone activity,” an FBI press release said Monday, Jan. 13, in a statement. “For this reason, agents and our local partners can be seen throughout the area, including different residences.”
Our confirmed in July 2024 that Affleck bought his property worth 20 million dollars shortly after separating from his then wife Jennifer Lopez. The singer (55) filed for divorce the following month, which was finalized in early January.
According to court documents he obtained Our, Lopez and Affleck “agreed to share all assets and liabilities” to avoid further litigation and costs. They will also each keep personal belongings and earnings since they separated and half of their joint accounts. Additionally, the LA mansion they share, which is currently on the market, will be shared between the two.

Affleck and Lopez reunited in 2021, two decades after they broke off their initial engagement. Affleck proposed the following year and they married in July 2023, renewing their vows the following month. Lopez filed for divorce on their second anniversary.
“I’ve done all the work and I’m looking at where I’m at and then it’s like my whole freaking world just exploded,” Lopez told Interview magazine in October 2024. “Sometimes it will turn out great. And sometimes it won’t. And that’s okay too. I thought about this moment in my life and I said, ‘I didn’t think it would turn out like this.'”
Meanwhile, Affleck has yet to publicly announce the breakup.
