Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidmanson, Connor Cruisegave a rare glimpse into his life as he celebrated his 30th birthday.
Connor shared a series of photos and birthday tributes that his friends posted via their Instagram stories on Friday, January 17.
“Happy birthday, Herman,” one friend wrote alongside a photo of him, Connor and other friends posing with Philadelphia Phillies mascot Phanatic Phillie. Connor shared the throwback pic again and wrote: “Thanks bro!”
In a subsequent Story, another of Connor’s friends shared a picture of the two of them standing in front of a black pickup truck.
“Happy 30th bro,” read the caption, which Connor re-shared with a series of praying hands emoji.
An additional friend also posted a picture of Connor rocking a Santa suit and cheekily posing for the camera.
“20 years and 2 million deep adventures happy birthday bro,” a friend wrote alongside the picture. Connor replied, “I love you bro!”
Several tributes from Connor’s friends included pictures of him participating in one of his favorite pastimes: fishing. One photo shows Connor and a friend on a boat as they both hold two giant fish they caught from the ocean. An additional post showed Connor and another comrade smiling from the stern of the boat as they navigated the open waters.
“Happy birthday my dad,” read the caption. “Live it up.”
Connor thanked his friend, writing: “My guy!”
Another friend posted a video of Connor reeling in a fish. That same friend also shared a candid shot of Connor sitting on a vessel with his fishing rod waiting for the creatures under the sea to bite.
Connor is one of Tom and Kidman’s two children. Except for Connor, the ex, who were married from 1990 to 2001, also share daughter Bella32. Both children were adopted after Kidman lost her pregnancy.
“From the moment Tom and I got married, I wanted to have kids,” Kidman said Vanity Fair 2007. “And we lost the baby early, so it was very traumatic. And then we would adopt Bella.”
Although Connor comes from a famous family, he has stayed away from the limelight and kept his personal life low-key. In December 2023, Tom posed with both children when the trio attended a Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Florida Panthers game.
“Good evening Wow look who stopped by my office before our @tblightning game tonight! @tomcruise,” former NFL player Derrick Brookswho was also at the NHL game, he wrote on Instagram at the time. “I was a little star but I played cool and he said he was too! 😂😂.”
