The Teenage mom star proposed to his pregnant girlfriend during a snowy family vacation this weekend.
Edwards, 37, confirmed the news via Instagram on Sunday, January 12, when the reality star shared a video of himself getting down on one knee to propose to her.
Fans spotted cameras capturing the moment, leading some to speculate that the romantic gesture could be featured in the upcoming season Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

It also appears that Edwards made the proposal a family affair. The reality star — who shares a Bentley, 16, with an ex Maci Bookout — he invited his eldest son to witness the romantic gesture. Edwards also shares Jagger, six, and Stella, five, with his ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer.
Shortly after sharing the news via social media, Edwards received well wishes from fans.
“This is the Ryan we all knew was still in there 😍😍😍,” one user wrote in the comments section. Another fan added: “Benny is present 🥺🥺🥺 love the growth.” Bookout also appears to have endorsed the engagement when she liked the post.
Since Edwards — who struggled with substance abuse for years — began dating Conner around September 2023, Bookout, 33, has been supportive of the relationship. In fact, she was quick to call Conner a friend.
“She’s very easy to be with,” Bookout told Us Weekly in May 2024. “You know when you meet people and you can just feel the energy? She just has really good energy.”
Their positive relationship “happened naturally” with Bookout praising Conner’s positive influence on Edwards.
“We get along really well and we just click,” Bookout explained. “She’s really supportive of Bentley and Ryan and everything that’s going on with him. It happened naturally.”
In October 2024, Edwards and Conner announced that they had expecting a girl. At the time, the couple shared their hopes and dreams for their daughter.
“Honesty is one of my biggest things, being honest about who you are, about who me and Ryan are, I want to be honest about that,” Conner exclusively said Our. “I don’t want to hide anything from her. I will be very careful. I don’t want to be a helicopter mom, but I don’t want our child to go through what we had to go through. I just want her to be very open to the world, but strong-minded about some things.”
