Both women have broken records and broken ceilings during their career, and everyone dominates the annual rewards of rewards in their own straps. However, Swift and Beyoncé often went their heads in the categories, including the album of the year and Song of the Year, and only one artist could go out to the top.
The trend continued with the Grammy 2025 awards on Sunday, February 2nd. Beyoncé earned more nominations than any other performer, collecting 11 nods for her album Cowboy Carter. Already, the artist with the most win in Grammys History, the Beyoncés are entering in the 2025 years, they ran into a total career at 99 nominations, knocking another record.
Swift, for her part, became the first woman to earn seven albums of the year nod after being released her 11th album, Department of tortured Poets. She received an additional five nominations at 2025 awards, including Song of the Year, which marked the eighth time to compete in the category.
The counting to the Grammy 2025 Award began after the official announcement of the nominations. Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monet, Brandy Clark and Kirk Franklin discovered candidates on Friday, November 8th.
