In a video shared via TikTok on Friday, January 10, Pratt, 41, asked his followers to watch and like a previous video shared on his account, which featured the song “What It Feels Like” by Aly & AJ.
“I’ll get up to $1,100 from TikTok if it’s one of the top 10 most liked TikToks with that song, so it’s more likely $200, but it could go up to $1,100,” he explained in the video. “So if you’re bored, please continue like the last video. It’s actually a great song and Aly & AJ are wearing Pratt Daddy Crystals — my friend Amber goes to all their shows and gives them all the crystals so it’s kind of an authentic promotion since they’re wearing my crystals. I also want to get that $1,100.”
In the next video, Pratt also asked his followers to add a woman Heidi Monday on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
However, Pratt’s plea for help via social media was met with negative reactions.
“Some demonic monster just wrote me on IG and tagged me, ‘Of course Spencer will milk her burnt house for every dollar she’s worth.’ Spirit. Spirit. that’s right. Let me count every dollar I can get,” Pratt said in a reaction video shared via TikTok on Friday.
“How come you people have no brains? Are you just the dumbest creatures alive?” he continued. “Of course I’m trying to get money to pay for my life with my family because our house and all our possessions were burnt. And if I can do that on social media, where I make the only money I’ve made in years continuously, showing my journey of our house burning down and all our possessions, don’t you think I’m going to keep going for every dollar?”
Pratt concluded, “I’d rather have my own house and no social media, let me tell you that much. I’d rather have everything in my house and delete all those stupid apps. I would prefer that. So yes, I will continue to ‘must’ our misery on social media.”
He also advised fans not to help him and Montag, 38, which included watching Hillswhich both Pratt and Montag starred in in the 2000s.
“I’d rather you watch anything in the world, but Hills. Don’t give that show one dollar, or that narrator one brain cell to listen to her voice,” he said in a video shared via TikTokreferring to Lauren Conrad. “No, there are no remains. So, roughly, I’d rather you watch the paint dry, mark me in (you) staring at the wall — that would help me more in life. Don’t waste your energy looking Hills thinking that helps our lives.”
Pratt and Montag have been married since 2008. Hills alum lost their house to the Pacific Palisades wildfires, which first broke out on Tuesday, January 7th. By the time their house burned, the couple had already evacuated with their three children: sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.
In a video shared by Montag via TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple revealed a few things that the rest of their house after the fire, all in one plastic bag.
“A pot of Hummingbird — with some nectar cooked in it,” Pratt says in the video, along with “one (rubber) backyard snake, one backyard crystal, (another) backyard crystal, Ryker’s backyard shovel. and broken pieces.”
As the wildfires continue to spread through the Los Angeles area, several celebrities have taken to social media to share how they have been affected by the fires. “Evacuated and safe with children, dogs and cats. When the couple packed up their home to evacuate, they apparently couldn’t take all their belongings with them. In another video on social media, Montag explained that “the craziest thing about packing for fire (is) your brain just goes crazy.”
She added: “It’s so hard to pack into the house. I mean, I only have two pairs of jeans, two shirts. I have so many more clothes for the kids. I wonder, ‘Why didn’t I grab more?’ Fortunately, I grabbed anything and that’s very lucky, and the most important thing is that we’re safe.”
Despite their struggles, Pratt gave fans an uplifting update, thanking them for their support after wife Heidi Montag’s album, “Superficial,” soared in the iTunes Store charts following his pleas for help on social media.
“God. Bless. All of you. Number 15 on the iTunes Store. This is a freaking miracle,” Pratt said via Instagram fast on Saturday, January 11. “If we get this to number one, it’s official — Heidi is a pop superstar legend. It will go down in the history books. She’s clearly already in my history books.”
Pratt went on to say that Montag’s album climbing the iTunes Store charts is “maybe the best thing I could have ever dreamed of…besides still having my house and everything I have.”
“But don’t worry, we’re on our way to being rich and famous and I won’t forget you when I’m rich and famous,” he continued. “I will be the most grateful rich celebrity you have ever supported in your lies. I love you all, thank you very much.”
