“I am very happy. The man I’m married to is Senator Vincent Hughes, Pennsylvania’s Seventh Senatorial District.” Abbott Elementary School said the star, 68 People in a profile published on Wednesday, January 8. “You fall in love with someone and realize that he doesn’t leave his career. He won’t leave Philadelphia. I’m not leaving Hollywood. When you have children, it’s very difficult.”
Ralph and Hughes (68) have been married since 2005. The actress was previously married to Eric Mauricewith whom he shares a son, Etienne, and a daughter, Ivy-Coco.
Ralph is in Los Angeles, where she ABC movies Abbott Elementary Schoolwhile Hughes has a residence in Pennsylvania for his political unit.
“We saw each other every two weeks and it continued to work well,” she explained to the news outlet. When I go to see him, I like to see him. When it’s time to go, ‘Bye-bye. See you soon.’ I’m telling you, life is good.”
Ralph continued, “He has his own life. I have my own life. He has his real career, I have my real career. He has his light in which he stands, I have my light in which I stand. He doesn’t look at me thinking about status or this or that. He’s doing his thing. I have to do my own thing.”
In addition, Ralph and Hughes remain each other’s biggest fans in their careers.
“It’s all good,” Ralph explained, citing communication as their secret to success. “I evolved into (saying) ‘Let’s talk about it.’ If you sit in problems, you become anxious, depressed and all the juice in life starts to dry up. I can’t have it, because it will all harm my good looks!”
Ralph’s bicoastal marriage in the beginning raised eyebrows years earlier in 2023
“I see him every two weeks and when I see him I’m so happy to see him and then when I leave I’m so happy to leave because I know I’ll be back!” Ralph said Extra in December 2023.
Weeks later, she reiterated that their long-distance love was working.
“(Vincent and I) live together from time to time, including me shooting Abbott Elementary School in LA (and) he’s at the Capitol every week,” Ralph said AND! News. “So we see each other in between (our busy schedules).”
