On Saturday night, Russia launched a major attack of drones, causing civilian victims across Ukraine, the clerk said.
Yuriy Ignat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that in one, coordinated attack, the “record” of 267 Russian drones was launched.
Among them, 138 were intercepted by air defense, while 119 disappeared from the radar after he was stuck and did not cause any damage.
While many were rejected, the emergency rooms reported the strikes of drones that cause destruction and fires in numerous regions overnight.
The strike comes the day before the third anniversary of the beginning of the Russian full invasion of Ukraine.
It is not clear how many people have died, but the initial figures from the emergency room suggest that there were at least three victims.
Two people died on the strike of residential buildings in Kherson, in the south of Ukraine – a man and the mother of twins, Ukrainian State Emergency Room said.
Regional authorities also confirmed that one man had died and at least three were wounded after a strike on the central city of Kryvy Rih.
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old woman was hospitalized after being injured in an attack of drones in password in Passorizhzhia, and firefighters were invited to extinguish more fires in the capital, Kiev.
Kyiva Mayor Vitali Ktilischko wrote on Telegram that the attacks of drones on the capital had damaged several houses and cars on the capital, but there were no immediate reports on injuries.
The drones are intercepted in at least 13 regions, including Harkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherneiv, Mykolayiv and Odessa, according to the Ukrainian authorities.
Ukrainian aviation also reported that Russia launched three ballistic rockets overnight.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Sunday that 20 Ukrainian drones were launched in Russia “destroyed” overnight.
