Hollywood productions and industry events were stopped amid the constant fires in Los Angeles.
“The past two days have brought unprecedented danger to life and property from multiple wildfires, while also placing extreme demands on public safety personnel,” the nonprofit Film LA wrote on Wednesday, Jan. 8. production warning. “With deep respect for the efforts of local firefighters, police and paramedics at this difficult time, we advise the production community that human resources normally available to support film production may not be available during a local emergency.”
The statement added, “The LA County Fire Department has specifically ordered that all permits issued for filming in the communities of Altadena, La Crescenta, La Canada/Flintridge and Unincorporated Pasadena be revoked. Other license revocations are also possible.”
Many stars are had to evacuate their homesincluding Mandy Moore, Spencer Pratt, Cameron Mathison and more. Several of their properties were even destroyed by fire.
As the wildfires continue to spread through the Los Angeles area, several celebrities have taken to social media to share how they have been affected by the fires. “Evacuated and safe with children, dogs and cats. My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, straightened out. So many friends and loved ones also lost everything. Our community is broken, but we will be here to rebuild it together.”
