In a statement released via Instagram on Tuesday, January 14, the 43-year-old thanked staff at the Royal Marsden in the UK for their help during her treatment. “My heartfelt thanks to all those who walked quietly alongside William and me as we managed everything. We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we received during my patient period was exceptional,” she wrote. Kate initially revealed in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with a form of cancer following abdominal surgery. By September 2024, she finished her chemotherapy.
