
The exclusive Chateau Marmont, a favorite hotel of many of Hollywood’s most famous stars, is opening its doors to firefighters and evacuees due to the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.
“To the heroes and victims in the Hollywood community who have lost their homes…we want to invite you to our safe haven,” the hotel announced via Instagram post on Sunday, January 12. “For the next week, we are making our cabins available for two free nights to Los Angeles firefighters and union members who represent our city’s creative industries.”
So that firefighters and those displaced by the ongoing fires can take advantage of the offer, the post office is directing those in need to “call the hotel directly.” You can find the exact number for Chateau Marmont in the hotel’s Instagram bio.
“Requests for cottages will be placed in the order in which they are received,” the post concluded.
At least 16 people have lost their lives as a result of five wildfires burning around LA, according to local authorities, although officials believe that number is likely to rise as additional search and rescue efforts are underway. According to NBC newsthe fires burned at least 37,000 hectares and destroyed more than 12,000 structures, while tens of thousands of people were forced from their homes under mandatory evacuation orders.

Many celebrities and Hollywood A-listers lost their homes as a result of the fire, including Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins. Other stars have gone out of their way to help their fellow Angelinas as communities continue to be ravaged by flames.

“If you lost your home in the Los Angeles fires and need to find a place to rent until your home is rebuilt, all Oppenheim Group agents will represent you for free or reimburse you for the commission we receive on the transaction,” the Selling Sunset star, 47, wrote on Thursday, January 9 Instagram publish. “Please contact us at office@ogroup.com.”
Actress Jennifer Garner was spotted in LA also volunteering alongside World Central Kitchen workers and a celebrity chef Jose Andres, People reported at the time. Meanwhile, Sharon Stone and Halle Berry they donated their “entire wardrobe” to those who lost everything in the fires.
“I’m packing my whole closet and going to the COOP!” Berry, 58, said on the way Instagram on Thursday, January 9. “If you live in the Southern California area, I encourage you to do the same. This is something we can do today to help all the displaced families who need the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your guidance. I love you Madam.”
