“My favorite part of being a realtor is helping people secure a place where life happens. Thinking about losing so many people is heartbreaking,” 40-year-old Gina wrote on the road Instagram on Sunday, January 12, with a video of her and her boyfriend Travis Mullen. In the video, the couple explained their plan to help those moving from Los Angeles to Orange County.
“We were thinking about ways we could try to help in a meaningful way,” Travis said in the video. “So the Gated Group, along with our team, decided that we would help anyone who had to relocate because of the LA fires and decided to come to Orange County.”
Gina added, “Whether it’s to rent or you need to buy a home in Orange County, Gated Group will represent you and 100% of the commission will be donated directly to you or any relief fund that helps help anyone and everyone affected by the fires .”

In her description, Gina also directed her followers to a real estate agent Kyle Whistlewhich offers similar real estate services for those moving to San Diego from Los Angeles because of the fire.
“And for all those who want to go to San Diego, reach out to @kylewhissel … he has graciously offered to do the same ❤️,” she wrote. “Stay safe, you are in our hearts LA County ❤️.”
Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate due to the ongoing wildfires, which have been burning since the morning of Tuesday, January 7. The storm’s winds sparked rapid wildfires through the Pacific Palisades and other Los Angeles neighborhoods, destroying or severely damaging more than 12,000 structures.
Hollywood A-listers, such as Paris HiltonAnna Faris, Heidi Montag and Spencer PrattBilly Crystal, Mel Gibson and Milo Ventimigliaall lost their homes as a result of historic fires. According to Los Angeles Times150,000 are under mandatory evacuation, and as of Sunday, January 12, the death toll has risen to 16 people, according to NBC news.
As the wildfires continue to spread through the Los Angeles area, several celebrities have taken to social media to share how they have been affected by the fires. “Evacuated and safe with children, dogs and cats. A few celebrities have offered a helping hand since the beginning of the fire. Jamie Lee Curtis announced on Thursday, January 9, that it will donate one million dollars for aid, while Sharon Stone works with LA-based store The Coop to collect donations for displaced people.
“This is a moment to reach out to anyone living in Los Angeles who you think might be in some sort of traumatic shock and grief over the loss of their homes and the destruction of their neighborhoods and communities and offer your hand, home and resources,” Curtis wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “We will have to come together, as perhaps we never have before, in the City of Angels and help each other. AND WE WILL!”
