Christine Brown, Janelle Brown discuss relationship with Meri, Robyn Brown

Two stars from TLC Sister wives they reveal their relationship status with other former sisters.

During the last season Sister wivesfans have seen the Brown family continue to fall apart Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Mary Brown left the home they once shared with their husband Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn Brown.

Now the women are no longer involved in the polygamous relationship and have instead continued with their separate lives. The only sister wife who remains married to Kody is Robyn.

During a recent episode of “Rogue Energy,” on the iHeart podcast, Christine and Janelle, who have remained friends and still consider each other “family” despite leaving Kody, opened up about their relationship with Meri and Robyn.

Christine Brown talked to Janelle Brown about her future with Kody Brown — and the family as a whole — on the latest episode of Sister Wives. Christine, 51, sat down with Janelle, 54, during Sunday’s Oct. 22 episode to reflect on their ups and downs with Kody, 54, as a polygamist (…)

“I haven’t spoken to Meri or Robyn in years, and it’s funny,” Christine revealed. “We will just stay like that. I don’t need to develop a relationship with them.”

After marrying her husband, David Woolleyin October 2023, Christine said that while Janelle attended the celebration, Meri and Robyn did not.

“The great thing about being older when you get married is that you only have to invite the people you really want,” Christine continued.

“There are no mandatory invitations to some Uncle Bob or Uncle Jed, but you say, ‘I really don’t want him there.’ He’ll blah, blah, blah. He’s always doing this blah, blah, blah.’ We didn’t have to,” Christine said on the podcast. “We actually only invited our closest friends to our wedding.”

“And you were one of our closest friends,” Janelle said. “I’m not friends with Kody, Meri or Robyn, so I didn’t have to. I just had to invite whoever I wanted.”

As for Janelle, she said she’s “had some interactions with Meri” and Kody because of the property the three of them own.

“I think she’s really happy,” Janelle said of Mera. “She lived her life. you know what I mean. We worked cohesively to sort of resolve this property situation, which was nice.”

“I haven’t had any interaction with Robyn,” Janelle continued. “I didn’t ask for her. I don’t really overlap it in any part of my life.”

Janelle added that she’s excited to be in control of herself as she moves on, and Christine says she’s finally found the teammate she’s been craving in her new husband.

But as the Browns go their separate ways, Kody’s relationship with the children he shares with Janelle, Meri and Christine has suffered.

During the latest episode Sister wivesKody said he refuses to “cut off” wife Robyn in order to have a relationship with his other children.

“My children will always be my children and the door will always be open to them,” he admitted, adding that the warning was for his children to take the first step towards rebuilding their relationship. “They have to go through that door.”

“I’ll reach out for it, but I’ll hold this hand that’s next to me, and I won’t let go of that hand,” he said, referring to Robyn. “I will not stop Robyn from having a relationship with my children.”

As for Christina and Janelle’s children, they agreed on the podcast that they know they have “two moms” because they called their families “successful” considering how many of them they raised while in multiple marriages.
