Chrisshell Stause
Euan Cherry/PeacockThe third season of Traitors were almost caught in the scheming not once but several times.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weeklycompetitor — and Faithful — Chrisshell Stause he recalled a number of close calls for individuals in the cloak at Traitors.
“There’s two moments, to be honest with you, when they’re in that hidden little bar,” Chrishell, 43, shared of the hit Peacock series. “There is a part where they cut off the (third) episode. But I also remember another part. I remember being in that room and I was like, ‘Wait, I heard the door click.'”
Chrishell almost met, adding: “I remember trying to push in and trying to get in and he wouldn’t let me in. So I thought, ‘Either someone is holding it on the other side or it’s locked.’ ‘”
She continued: “Honestly, there were a few times where I think they definitely didn’t get it by the skin of their teeth. As you can see — since I wasn’t in that room — there are other times when something happens at the beginning of an episode that will (raise) suspicion. I remember we said, ‘I wasn’t there, but somebody heard something.'”
The third season, which premiered earlier this month, began with Bob the Drag Queen, Danielle Reyes and Carolyn Wigger as Traitors. Until the second episode, Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano joined the group and Bob was subsequently banished after Rob turned on him.
Chrishell, however, is he was not versed in drama as Faithful.

Euan Cherry/Peacock“I feel like once you’ve proven yourself Faithful—if you’ve done that—you have to work twice as hard to shake off the suspicion that you might be a traitor. It’s a rough game because you have to time and thread that needle perfectly,” she noted. “So now, of course, it’s easy for me to say, ‘But I also wish I had been a little more vocal when I had these doubts.'”
The Selling Sunset the star regretted about saying no more. “There were times when I was right with someone and I brought that up to a few people,” she noted. “And apparently I mentioned it (and it didn’t go anywhere). It’s frustrating when you know you were right about someone and you go, ‘Oh, I should have been louder’.”
Inspired by Dutch series Traitors (which previously led to a popular UK version) , Traitors brings together celebrities, especially reality TV stars from various franchises – incl Survivor, Big Brother, Real Housewives and more — as they compete mob-style game up to $250,000.

Euan Cherry/Peacock“Hours of recording Traitors you are just so long and you have no sleep. With Selling Sunset, at least you can sit in a chair and enjoy the glamour. But then, they invade your private lives,” she joked. “Even though I wasn’t sleeping and I didn’t have my phone on (The Traitors), I’d rather someone go after me like that than my actual family and friends. Selling Sunset is more stressful.”
Chrishell continued with some unexpected events behind the scenes recording details Traitorssaying, “I would die to have glamor in the castle, but (the host) Alan Cumming he does not allow us to be glamorous in the castle. We shoot from about 8 until the time he was supposed to be ready to go. I think I got home at 2 o’clock in the morning at the latest.”
She continued: “Then you have challenges and you have to hurry up and change. So obviously, I absolutely love that experience, and it’s one of those things that you’re just dying to go. So, I like him in the game and it would break anyone’s heart to see him go. But having said that, your body is so tired too.”
New episodes Traitors will be published on Peacock Thursdays until March 6.
