Brooke Shields she loves her “hot” husband Chris Henchy but it is not always in action.
“I recently spoke to a doctor who asked about my sex life and I explained to her that I had no desire and that I was fine with that,” Shields, 59, wrote in her latest memoir. Brooke Shields must not age: Reflections on aging as a womanpublished on Tuesday, January 14. “It turns out she’s not okay with that.”
Shields wrote that she “had a fierce sex drive” when she was younger. “But I never felt like I could satisfy that appetite the way I wanted to,” the actress added.
Shields detailed how losing her virginity, and in turn having sex with previous boyfriends, affected her relationship with her late mother, Terry Shields.

“My relationship with my boyfriend was a personal affront to her, because having a man in my life in such a real way meant losing me,” she wrote. “Oh, how I wish I could just let lust take over me! But, unfortunately, I could never do that.”
That continued in her marriage to Henchy, 60. (Shields and Henchy have been married since 2001. Daughters share Rowan, 21, and Grier, 18.)
“Here I am, over thirty-five years later, sometimes pretending to be asleep when I know Chris is in the mood,” Shields admitted in the book. “It has nothing to do with Chris — he’s hot! He’s been working out at the boxing gym recently and looks amazing.”

After telling her doctor about her lack of sex, Shields recalled being “in a lecture about how important sex is to a relationship.” The actress also admitted that sex had become “painful” because of the previous surgery. (Shields said Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month about the plastic surgeon who gave her vaginal rejuvenation surgery without consent.)
“To be able to fully enjoy sex at this moment, I need my lotions and potions, proper sleepwear (maybe calling it sleepwear contributes to the problem), my special pillow and maybe a shot of tequila to relax,” she wrote, noting “again” that Henchy is “not a problem at all.”
“Listen, there’s nothing wrong with using whatever you need!” she stated. “Whatever it takes.”
