The BeyGood star foundation shared the way Instagram on Sunday, January 12, to make a $2.5 million donation to the newly established LA Fire Relief Fund.

“Los Angeles, we stand with you. 🫶🏽”, the post began.

“The fund is intended to help families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who have lost their homes, and churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,” the nonprofit said.

“To show your support for the affected families and learn more about BeyGOOD’s mission, please visit https://beygood.org“, the announcement adds.

Wildfires fueled by Santa Ana wind gusts displaced many residents of Los Angeles and ravaged houses belonging to celebrities since they started spreading on Tuesday, January 7th. Stars included Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Anna Faris lost their homes.

last week, Jamie Lee Curtis promised a million dollars relief efforts.

“My family is donating $1 million today to help,” Curtis, 66, said Thursday, Jan. 9, in an Instagram post. “We are in contact with the governor (Gavin) Newsommayor (Karen) Bassand a senator (Adam) Schiff and I will post frequently about where you can send the necessary resources to reputable agencies.”

Curtis shared a similar message in the caption of the post, writing, “My husband, I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund to support our great city and state and the great people who live and love it. ” (Curtis shares daughters Annie34, i Ruby25, with his wife, Christopher Guest.)

Curtis’ donation comes a day after she became emotional discussing the wildfires during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’m literally going to cry,” she said at the start of her interview on Wednesday, January 8.

“As you know, where I live right now is on fire. Literally, the entire town of Pacific Palisades is on fire,” she continued. “I flew here last night. I was on a plane, started getting messages and it was freakin’ bumpy, folks. It’s just a disaster in Southern California. Obviously a lot of places have had terrible fires (but) this is literally where I live.”
