Denim on denim is back.
Jeans from head to toe became iconic in 2001 when Britney Spears and her ex Justin Timberlake attracted attention at the American Music Awards. Spears, for her part, wore a strapless denim dress with a patchwork A-line skirt. She added just the right amount of sparkle to her look with a chunky crystal necklace and chain belt.
Timberlake, meanwhile, faltered Canadian tuxedo designed by Levi’s and Jezebel fitted with faded fabric. He teamed the look with a denim hat, tan sunglasses and a silver necklace.
In the fall of 2024, the trend returned strongly, including the stars Heidi Klum, Ashley Park, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Stillness, Tayshia Adams and wears more fashion.
Swift nailed the trend as she cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce ua Versace corset top and shorts at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2024. She then accessorized her look with maroon Giuseppe Zanotti thigh-high boots and a Louis Vuitton bag.
