Getty Images (3)Awards season is upon us, and Us Weekly is preparing the date for the Oscars, Grammys and all major ceremonies in 2025.
First up are the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards in January, which share many nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (Substance), Timothée Chalamet (Complete unknown) and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked). Emilia Perezacting Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomezis among the most nominated films at both awards, with 10 nominations for the Globes and another 10 for the Critics Choice Awards.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to awards season. The SAG Awards, Oscars and more will be awarded to films, while the Grammy Awards will bring together the biggest names in music. Check out the dates, hosts and nomination details for the biggest awards shows in 2025 below:
January 5: Golden Globe Awards

In response to the wildfires in Los Angeles, the Recording Academy sent a notice to members on January 13 that the Grammy Awards will be a fundraising effort. “Working closely with local authorities to ensure public safety and the responsible use of area resources, the CBS telecast of the 67th Grammy Awards on February 2nd will proceed as scheduled,” the letter said. “However, this year’s exhibition will carry a renewed sense of purpose: to raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and to honor the courage and dedication of first responders who risked their lives to protect ours.”

Days before the Critics Choice Awards were scheduled to take place on January 12, the ceremony was postponed to January 26 and then moved back to February 7 due to continuous fires in Los Angeles. “This unfolding tragedy has already deeply affected our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all those affected,” CEO Joey Berlin it is stated in the press release.
February 16: BAFTA Film Awards
After he announced it the cancer is officially in remission, Princess Kate Middleton it is expected that it will first appearance on the red carpet in over a year at the 2025 BAFTA Awards (Prince William is the president of a non-profit art organization.)
February 22: Film Independent Spirit Awards
