Apple’s Developer service comes to China’s WeChat

As part of his efforts to further invest in the Chinese market, Apple has announced this week that he brings his Apple developer to the Chinese Wechat application. The service includes news, announcements and other upcoming activities for the members of the programmer community, which are usually offered through the Apple website and their own development developers applications.

The move comes in the middle The fall of the iPhone sales in the Chinese market. In the last quarter, sales in China decreased by 11.1%, which influenced the revenue of the iPhone. In part, this is due to Apple’s confrontation with increased competition of local manufacturers, such as OPPO and Huawei. This stated the iPhone manufacturer to start 599 USD iPhone 16e with Apple Intelligence.

The company is also in conversations to bring AI technologies from Tencent and Bytentrance to a new device, as is the case in the USA Chatgpt Openi.

Tencent, of course, also manages Wechat, a combined message exchange application, social media and payments, which Chinese users use strongly. So, Apple’s support for Wechat makes sense not only in the broader context of expanding its reach with Chinese developers, but also as a means of sweetening his AI agreement.
