“We spent all our money on this album,” Pratt, 41, said emotionally TikTok video, explaining that he and Montag, 38, enlisted top writers and producers to work on the record, which sold just 1,000 copies in its first week on sale in January 2010.
“Every dollar we’ve made Hillswe put on this album,” continued Pratt. “To finally become number 1 in America, 15 years after… Do you know how many times we cried and regretted spending all our money and investing it and believing in Heidi’s music?”

Pratt then became overcome with emotion as he sobbed on camera over his wife’s success.
On Saturday, January 11, Montag shared her gratitude to her fans for bringing her music to the fore.
“Thank you very much to everyone. #1 on the iTunes charts, oh my god,” Montag shared via an Instagram Stories video. “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and for really rallying behind us in this devastating time and making it such a blessing.”
Montag and Pratt, who share sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months, shared the news on Tuesday, Jan. 7, that their home burned down in forest fires decimating Los Angeles. Since then, the couple has continued to post news and plead with fans to support them financially amid the devastating loss.
As the wildfires continue to spread through the Los Angeles area, several celebrities have taken to social media to share how they have been affected by the fires. “Evacuated and safe with children, dogs and cats. In a video shared by Montag via TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple discovered a few things left from their house after the fire, all in one plastic bag.
“A pot of Hummingbird — with some nectar cooked in it,” Pratt says in the video, along with “one (rubber) backyard snake, one backyard crystal, (another) backyard crystal, Ryker’s backyard shovel. and broken pieces.”
