No time to die It was James Bond’s last movie for Daniel Craig, and that movie ended (spoilers, sweets!) With unimaginable: our favorite cinema superpy death. Made a sad and sobering end but it was hard to get everything that Depressed because everyone knew that the character would return soon. Now, with the news that Amazon has bought creative control from franchise shepherds Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, it is clear that Streacer will return James Bond only to kill him completely diluted with Mark.
Amazon turns James Bond into content
Now Amazon bought the right to James Bond when they merged with Mgm 2022, and most fans assumed that we would get a new movie shortly after. This merging cost a cold $ 8.5 billion streamer, but there was a problem: they still couldn’t make new films about bonds without the approval of broccoli and Wilson. Now, Amazon raised more Billion to get creative control of the two of them, and although this means that before and later we will get new James Bond films, that also means that the franchise will never be the same.

Wilson take care of this franchise, and without their creative control there is no doubt that Streamer will take the world’s most famous superspy in a completely different direction.
This does not mean that it will be inherently bad Direction, of course. Just differently. Yet, those who have afraid of the possibility of spy is completely reworked (re -examined as a black man, a woman, and so on), you should know that Amazon’s creative control over James Bond makes that the possibilities that appear more likely than ever before. Again, it is quite possible that such a movie would blow our minds (Idris Elba or Emily Blunt They would both bring interesting choices of 007 castes), but if you like Bond character and movies for their consistency, these main changes are probably more shaken than you mixed.
We also have to deal with the possibility that Amazon will publish the next James Bond movie in Prime video rather than in cinemas. During the initial negotiations with Brokolia, they were dedicated to theatrical release, but this additional billion dollars may mean that they can also make it all future bond films as Current exclusives. This may not mean much for the digital natives who have spent all their lives current content, but to old nerds like me, it is terrible to think that Era James Bond Teatrick’s Era Era could already be over.
Most of all, I’m worried about Amazon’s reported desire to create a universe in the style of MCU for James Bond. On paper, something like a MoneyPenny TV show could be fun, especially if she had the creativity and quality of the Amazon Mr and Mrs. Smith. But one of the reasons why the audience tired of Miracle It is underway to feel like homework with their films, and Streamer could face a serious return blow if they expect fans to watch a bunch of tied media just to understand the plot of the next movie Bond or his new characters.
Maybe I’m just alarmated and old-fashioned … a bit like Bond when he first met a young new Q u Heavenly fall. After 25 films, this franchise may deserve reinvention, and Amazon certainly has deep pockets needed for justice James Bond and his iconic world.
