Tank Davis wants to “tax” Ryan Garcia again… For a whopping $150 million!

Gervonta Davis says he’ll fight Ryan Garcia again, “tax his cu**c,” but wants $150 million for the rematch. That’s his firm asking price and he’ll wait to be sent it before agreeing to fight the young social media star again.

Two years ago, Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) knocked out Garcia in the seventh round, despite having the advantage two-prong weight provisions of 136 lb catchweight and 10 lb rehydration limit.

Surprisingly, Ryan (24-1, 20 KO) agreed to both, and it was his undoing as he looked like death warmed up during the fight. He looked thin and sickly.

Tank and his management got over Garcia, who was then desperate and naive about the world, and foolishly agreed. What a fool. I bet Tank and his team were laughing at Ryan when he agreed to this handicap.

Tank’s $150 million fantasy

“I will tax it again. Tell those guys to give me $150 million. I’m coming,” Gervonta Davis said on Instagram. Tell them to send that bag and I’m coming.”

For the rematch to have any chance of happening, Gervonta, 30, will have to drop his claims for a cool $150 million and retire with a weight handicap that he might consider to be favored.

KingRy is the A-side?

A lot has changed since Davis fought Ryan in 2023, and Kingry’s popularity has soared beyond where the Baltimore native is right now. If nothing else, Garcia would be the A-side in the negotiations.

Money wise, Tank could get lucky and get $30 million if Turki Al-Shiekh comes on board to help out in the fight between him and Garcia.

Davis hurt his career by fighting just once since his win over Garcia, picking Frank Martin, then made another mistake picking his next fight against Lamont Roach on March 1st.

It’s a combination of Tank Davis’ lack of ambition, fear, and just plain laziness to not take on real fights to increase his popularity, not hurt it. More than anything, it’s plain old-fashioned fear. Gervonta is afraid to take risks. He was grasped by the forces of inertia. An item is resistant to change without something lighting a fire under it to set it in motion.
